Check Your Electricity Bill Online
Check your electricity bill online in Pakistan with just your reference number — no login, no DISCO account. Works for MEPCO, LESCO, PESCO and every other DISCO.
Whichever of the eleven DISCOs bills you — MEPCO, LESCO, PESCO, or any other — the bill itself is generated and stored on one shared system: the Power Information Technology Company's (PITC) portal at bill.pitc.com.pk. Nobody runs their own separate database. That's the whole reason a single reference number, typed into a single box, can pull up a bill from any company in the country.
Electricity Bill reads from that same PITC system. What you see here is not a summary or an estimate — it's the same record the official portal would show you, just reached without picking your DISCO from a list first.
What You Actually Need
One thing: the reference number printed on your bill, a string of 10 to 14 digits. There's no account to create and nothing to remember afterward — the number itself is the login.
- The 10–14 digit reference number from a recent paper or SMS bill
- Any phone, tablet, or computer with a browser
- Which DISCO covers your address, if you're starting from the homepage rather than a DISCO-specific page
The Steps
There's no multi-page flow here — it's closer to a search box than a form.
- Open Electricity Bill, or go straight to your DISCO's page (for example, MEPCO Bill Check)
- Type your reference number into the field — no spaces or dashes needed
- Pick your DISCO from the dropdown if you started from the homepage
- Submit to load the bill
- It renders straight from PITC's live system, not a cached copy
- Print it or save it as a PDF with your browser's own print dialog (Ctrl+P)
Finding the Reference Number Itself
Look near the top of the bill, close to your name and address — it's usually printed as 'Reference No.' or 'Consumer Reference.' It's digits only, nothing else, and it doesn't reset month to month.
No paper copy on hand? Check an SMS your DISCO sent when the bill was generated, a bank or wallet payment receipt from a previous month, or call your DISCO's helpline directly. The number stays fixed unless your meter is replaced or the account itself changes.
Every DISCO This Covers
All eleven distribution companies run through the same PITC backend, so all eleven work here:
- MEPCO — Multan Electric Power Company, South Punjab
- LESCO — Lahore Electric Supply Company
- FESCO — Faisalabad Electric Supply Company
- IESCO — Islamabad Electric Supply Company
- GEPCO — Gujranwala Electric Power Company
- PESCO — Peshawar Electric Supply Company
- HESCO — Hyderabad Electric Supply Company
- SEPCO — Sukkur Electric Power Company
- QESCO — Quetta Electric Supply Company
- TESCO — Tribal Electric Supply Company
- HAZECO — Hazara Electric Supply Company
Where People Actually Get Stuck
Almost every failed lookup comes down to one of two things: a mistyped digit in the reference number, or the wrong DISCO selected (the portal will reject a valid number if it's paired with the wrong company). Separately, a bill generated in the last day or two may simply not be live on PITC's system yet — that's a timing gap, not an error on your end.
