LESCO distributes electricity across Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Nankana Sahib—Punjab’s most populous load center.
From urban Lahore feeders and Ring Road corridors to Kasur’s industrial pockets and Okara’s agricultural belts, LESCO balances dense city demand with tube-well and seasonal crop loads. Consumers here navigate NEPRA-notified slab rates, peak-hour TOU where smart meters apply, FPA swings tied to national fuel mix, and routine meter-reading cycles printed as billing month and issue date on every duplicate PDF. Sub-division offices, SDO contacts, and customer service channels remain the formal route for outages, new connections, and billing disputes—while online payment via bank apps, JazzCash, Easypaisa, and branch banking stays the everyday norm.
Lahore Electric Supply Company sits downstream of generation and transmission and upstream of you, the consumer, in Pakistan's power market. Its bills follow the same CPPA and NEPRA tariff rules as every other DISCO, carry meter rent where it applies, and trace back to the same PITC duplicate-bill system the counters use. What this page does is put that lookup in front of you directly: type in the reference number (10 to 14 digits) or, if that's what your bill shows, the consumer number, and the form queries PITC and returns the official duplicate bill — the same document, not a rebuilt copy.
Once it loads, check the numbers that actually decide what you owe: arrears, billing month, issue date, the unit price tier you landed in, and the due date. From there, paying is whatever route you'd normally use with a LESCO-style bill in hand — JazzCash, Easypaisa, a bank app, or a physical counter — since the reference number on screen is identical to the one printed on paper.
Many consumers search for a specific month—for example an lesco March bill, lesco April bill check, or an lesco October bill—before paying or filing expenses. Your printed statement shows the billing month (whether that is February, June, September, or December); the duplicate you open here matches that same cycle from the official portal when you enter your reference number.
You do not need to type “March” or “Oct” into our form: the PITC system returns the current bill tied to your meter. That covers common queries like lesco jan bill, lesco sep bill, lesco nov bill check, or lesco december bill—one reference number is enough for lesco bill check any time of year.
If an older cycle is missing online, keep your last physical copy and confirm the issue date and billing month line; for account-specific history or corrections, contact LESCO through the channels printed on your bill.
Every DISCO bill in Pakistan carries the same fields, because they all come from the same PITC system: reference number, billing month, units consumed, tariff category, amount due, and arrears. What each one means, and which figures actually decide your slab rate, is the same regardless of which of the 11 DISCOs bills you — so rather than repeat that explanation here, the full line-by-line breakdown lives in understanding your electricity bill in Pakistan. The one thing worth saying here: a duplicate PDF from this page keeps every line item intact, so it works for a bank, a landlord, or an expense claim exactly like the paper original.
FPA, GST, the TV fee, and the TR surcharge are set by NEPRA and CPPA-G at the national level — they land on a LESCObill exactly as they would on any other DISCO's. A jump in your total that doesn't match a jump in units consumed is almost always FPA, not a change to the base tariff. The full breakdown of what each charge is and how it's calculated is in what FPA means in your electricity bill and the tariff & slabs hub.
The reference number on your LESCO duplicate is all any payment channel needs — JazzCash, Easypaisa, NayaPay, SadaPay, a bank app, or an ATM all accept it the same way, and none of them require the paper bill in hand. Step-by-step instructions for each wallet are in paying your bill: every method compared.
Because the slab system charges more per unit as consumption rises, cutting usage near the top of a slab tends to save more than the same cut lower down — inverter cooling, LED lighting, shifting heavy appliances off peak hours, and rooftop solar with net metering are the changes that move a LESCO bill measurably. The full list of tactics, with the reasoning behind each, is in 10 proven ways to reduce your electricity bill in Pakistan.
Where is my LESCO reference number?
Top of any LESCO bill you already have, under "Reference No." or "Consumer Reference" — 10 to 14 digits. It identifies the meter rather than the person, so it does not change when the bill does, and it is the same number PITC needs to return your duplicate.
Are LESCO bills on Electricity Bill official?
Yes. Your reference goes to bill.pitc.com.pk and the document that comes back is shown to you untouched — no line item is recalculated or reformatted. It is the same bill a LESCO customer-service counter would print. Check the figures against your own records before paying, as with any bill.
Why is my LESCO bill so high this month?
Usually one of five things. You drew more units — cooling and water heating dominate here. NEPRA set a positive Fuel Price Adjustment for the month. Your consumption crossed into a higher slab, so the extra units cost more than the earlier ones. There are arrears carried forward. Or a Late Payment Surcharge landed. Put this bill beside last month's and compare the units-consumed figure and the FPA line first — between them they explain most jumps. Lahore's hot May–August stretch pushes AC-driven demand across the metro, while Kasur and Okara see tube-well irrigation loads peak in the same window.
Why does my LESCO bill increase in summer?
Cooling load, mostly. Air conditioning pushes monthly units up sharply, and because the tariff is stepped, those extra units are billed at a higher rate than the ones before them — the bill climbs faster than the consumption does. A positive FPA in the same month compounds it. Inverter units and, for TOU meters, running heavy appliances outside the evening peak are the two changes that measurably help. Across Lahore, Kasur, Okara this is the sharpest seasonal swing in LESCO's territory.
How do I complain about LESCO billing or outages?
Start with LESCO's own channels: 042-111-000-118, [email protected], or the complaint form at https://lescows.lesco.gov.pk. If it stalls, escalate to PMDU's Citizen Portal (citizenportal.gov.pk) or NEPRA's consumer complaint portal (nepra.org.pk). We are an independent viewer with no access to LESCO account records and cannot lodge anything on your behalf. Full contact details and office addresses are on the /complaints/lesco page.
How do I apply for a new LESCO connection?
Through enc.pitc.com.pk, the Electronic New Connection portal. Choose LESCO, complete the form, upload your documents, settle the demand notice online and follow the tracking number it gives you. Our walkthrough for this DISCO is at /enc-services/lesco.
Can I get solar net metering from LESCO?
Yes — Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) handles NEPRA-licensed net metering applications inside its territory. The sequence is: install the rooftop system, apply to LESCO for a bidirectional meter, then export surplus generation against what you import. Detail is under /guides/solar.
Which areas does LESCO serve?
Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) supplies Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib under its NEPRA-licensed territory.
LESCO bill guides
Three short explainers for the questions that come up once the bill is open.
LESCO bill check by reference number, customer ID or meter number
The LESCO reference number is the only identifier the lookup needs. It runs 10 to 14 digits and sits at the top of every printed bill under “Reference No.” Older bills across some regions show a shorter consumer number or customer ID beside it — where that is printed, it is the same account and works the same way. Search results often call this the LESCO online bill check 14-digit field; 14 digits is simply the longest format in use, not a requirement, so do not pad a shorter number with zeros.
Some things people expect to work, and what actually happens:
- By reference number — works. This is the supported route and the one this page uses.
- By customer ID or serial number — works when that figure is printed on your bill, because on most LESCO bills it is the same number in a different label.
- By CNIC — not possible, here or anywhere. PITC keeps no index from national identity number to meter, so no site can offer it honestly. If a page claims otherwise it is guessing.
- By name or address — same answer, and for the same reason. Names are not unique and are not indexed.
- By meter number — the number stamped on the meter body is not the reference number and will not return a bill.
If every old bill is gone, LESCO customer service can read the reference back to you once they have verified the account, and it also appears in LESCO billing SMS alerts and in the payment receipts held by JazzCash, Easypaisa or your bank. Because the number belongs to the meter rather than to you, a receipt from several years ago is still valid.
Download, print or save your LESCO duplicate bill as PDF
A LESCO duplicate bill is not a copy or a re-creation — it is the same document PITC generated, carrying the same reference, the same line items and the same payable amount as the sheet that was delivered to your door. That is why banks and landlords accept it.
Once the bill is on screen, open your browser’s print dialog — Ctrl+P on a computer, or the share/print item in the menu on a phone. Choosing Save as PDF instead of a printer gives you a file identical to the printed output, which is what you want for a bank branch, a tenancy file, an employer’s expense claim, or simply your own records. Do it each month while the bill is current: PITC does not keep an archive you can come back to.
LESCO bill check in Lahore, Kasur, Okara and across the LESCO region
Lahore Electric Supply Company bills Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib from one central system, so the lookup is identical wherever you are inside the territory. A LESCO bill check in Lahore and one in Kasur use the same form, the same reference format and the same source — there is no separate city portal to find, and no city-specific number to enter.
What does vary by area is the subdivision office you would visit in person for a metering fault or a disputed reading. Those are listed in the LESCO office directory, alongside the regional helplines.
LESCO previous month bill, old bill history and checking whether a bill is paid
This is worth stating plainly, because a lot of pages avoid it: the PITC lookup returns the current billing cycle for your meter. There is no public archive of previous months to page back through, so “LESCO previous bill check online” and “LESCOold bill history” cannot be answered by any third-party tool, including this one.
What you can do instead: save the PDF every month so you build your own history; read the arrears line on the current bill, which reflects anything unpaid from earlier cycles; and for a formal record going further back, request a ledger statement from your LESCO subdivision office, which does hold it.
To check whether a payment landed, look at the current bill rather than the old one. A payment made against the previous cycle shows up as a cleared balance with no arrears carried forward. Until the next cycle is generated, your transaction ID from JazzCash, Easypaisa or your bank is the proof — keep it.
The official LESCO website and how this page relates to it
Lahore Electric Supply Company maintains its own corporate site, and bills for every distribution company are generated centrally by PITC at bill.pitc.com.pk. This page is not either of those. It is an independent front end that sends your reference number to that same PITC system and shows you exactly what comes back, unaltered.
So there is no difference in the bill itself — the amount, the due date and the FPA line are identical whichever route you take. The difference is only in getting there: no navigation through a corporate site, and a form built for a phone screen. Anything that touches your account rather than your bill — a metering fault, a disputed reading, a new connection, a name change — has to go through LESCO directly, and the LESCO complaint routes and helplines are listed here.
LESCO bijli ka bill online check — بجلی کا بل چیک کریں
Bijli ka bill is simply the everyday Urdu for an electricity bill, and LESCO bijli bill check is the same task described above: enter the reference number from the printed bill and the duplicate opens. Nothing changes but the wording of the search.
The whole site is available in Urdu if that is easier to read — اردو میں بل چیک کریں.
Not a LESCO customer? Find the right company first
Entering a reference number on the wrong company’s page returns nothing, which looks like a broken tool but is usually just a mismatch. Your distribution company is fixed by where the meter is, and the name is printed at the top of the bill. If you are in Lahore or nearby you are almost certainly on the right page; otherwise pick from the full list of companies — and note that Karachi is served by K-Electric, which runs a separate billing system that no PITC-based lookup can reach.
