Property document is in your name
Inherited or otherwise transferred property needs an ownership transfer document or an NOC from the legal owner before it counts here.
CNIC copies are attested

Wiring contractor's report is signed
The contractor issuing it must be licensed and registered with WAPDA — an unlicensed contractor's report is invalid.
Load requirement is estimated

Mobile number is registered in your name

Step-by-Step: How to Get a New FESCO Electricity Connection
The process runs through six distinct stages, and each one has a specific owner — sometimes you, sometimes FESCO. Knowing who's responsible at each stage saves you from waiting when you should be acting, or acting when you should be waiting.
Step 1 — Gather & Prepare Documents
Before opening the online form, physically collect every document: your property document (original plus a clear copy), both CNICs (applicant and witness) with gazetted attestation, a copy of the most recent bill from a bordering property, and the wiring test report from a WAPDA-licensed contractor. Step 2 — Submit Online Application

Step 3 — Receive Tracking ID
Within minutes of a successful submission, an 11-digit Tracking ID lands on your registered mobile number. Treat it as irreplaceable — screenshot it, write it down, save it in your phone notes. Every future interaction with FESCO — status checks, Demand Notice printing, receipt uploads, helpline calls — needs this number.
Step 4 — Technical Survey
FESCO assigns a field engineer who visits the property — sometimes with advance notice, sometimes not — to assess what extending the power line actually requires. They measure the distance from the nearest pole to your meter board, check the local transformer's spare capacity, and determine whether new poles or cable runs are needed. Keep the site accessible; this survey is what your Demand Notice amount is based on.
Step 5 — Pay the Demand Notice
FESCO issues a Demand Notice covering the service line, poles, transformer share, meter security deposit, and registration. Print it with the Print Demand Notice tool on this site, pay the full amount at any listed bank, and upload a photo of the receipt the same day — that alone cuts the verification wait from around a week down to 1–3 days.
Step 6 — Meter Installation
Once payment is confirmed, FESCO procures materials and schedules installation. A crew runs the service line from the nearest pole to your meter board, installs the meter, and tests the connection. On installation day, note down the meter serial number (printed on the meter body) and the initial reading — that protects you against billing errors in the first few bills.

Property Document Copy
A copy of your ownership documents (registry, sale deed, lease agreement, or allotment letter) that proves your legal right to the premises where the connection is required.
Attested CNIC Copy of Applicant
A clear photocopy of your 13-digit National Identity Card, attested by a gazetted officer or notary public. The attesting officer must sign, stamp, and write 'Attested True Copy' on the copy.
Attested CNIC Copy of Witness
Your application requires a witness whose attested CNIC copy must also be included. The witness can be a neighbour, local resident, or relative who can vouch for your identity and premises.
Neighbour's Electricity Bill Copy
A copy of the latest electricity bill of a neighbouring property helps the electricity company's survey team easily identify the location of your premises on their network maps.
Wiring Contractor's Test Report
A test report issued by a licensed and accredited electrical wiring contractor confirming that the internal wiring of your premises meets WAPDA and Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) safety specifications.
Important: If the ownership documents are in someone else's name — a parent, a landlord, a deceased family member — FESCO needs either an NOC from the actual owner or a copy of the inheritance succession certificate. A verbal family agreement won't satisfy this requirement.
Types of FESCO Electricity Connections
Get the connection type right at application stage — changing it later means filing a separate Change Application and paying additional fees. Here's what the five main types actually cover:
Domestic Single-Phase
Up to 5 kW
For homes running lights, fans, a fridge, TV, and one or two air conditioners. Most standard Pakistani homes fall here.
Domestic Three-Phase
