Solar Panel Types: Mono, Poly & PERC
Monocrystalline, polycrystalline, and PERC compared on efficiency, appearance, and heat tolerance for a rooftop install.

Technology differences
Monocrystalline cells run more efficient and give you a uniform black finish. Polycrystalline cells usually cost less per panel but come in visibly bluish, with somewhat lower efficiency per square metre of roof.
PERC — Passivated Emitter Rear Cell — is a manufacturing tweak that lifts efficiency on either a mono or poly base. In Pakistan's heat, the number worth checking isn't just efficiency but the temperature coefficient and the degradation curve the manufacturer publishes.
Choosing for your roof
Tight roof space pushes the decision toward higher-efficiency modules, since you're trying to fit more watts into a fixed area. With space to spare, cost per watt usually matters more than squeezing out the last percentage point of efficiency.
